About Saga Artistry

Saga Artistry brings together a collective of skilled artisans under one roof in Erskineville, creating a collaborative space that celebrates individuality and artistry. Director Dylan Anthony combines his fine arts background from The National Art School with a decade of hairdressing experience, specialising in natural, lived-in colour and dimensional cuts through his preferred dry cutting and barbering techniques. The salon operates as an inclusive haven designed specifically to welcome neurodivergent individuals, the queer community, and people from all walks of life. This philosophy extends across all services, from Charlotte Eyles' expertise in effortless lived-in colour and creative vivid shades to her specialised curly and wavy cuts that enhance natural texture. Beyond hair, the collective features Ayane Suwa's decade-plus nail artistry spanning Tokyo and Sydney, focusing on gentle nail care and cutting-edge techniques like BIAB. Momoka Tsuchiya rounds out the team with her Japanese vegan lash expertise, prioritising natural lash health through careful isolation techniques and minimal adhesive application, alongside lash lifts and tints. Operating by appointment only at 634 King Street, Saga Artistry challenges traditional salon models by fostering a friendly, collaborative environment where artistic vision meets personalised service. Each practitioner brings their unique specialty whilst maintaining the salon's commitment to creating a genuinely safe and welcoming space for all clients.
